As part of his first South American tour, Bob Mould, will be playing in Buenos Aires for the first time. The guitarist and vocalist of influential cult Punk-Hardcore-PowerPop bands such as Hüsker Dü and Sugar, will be playing the songs of his latest album, ‘Silver Age’, next Thursday, October 3 at Teatro Vorterix.

Mould was essential to the music of the 80’s and 90’s,  for that reason in November, 2011 Dave Grohl, Britt Daniel of Spoon, Craig Finn and Tad Kubler of The Hold Steady, Randy Randall and Dean Allen Spunt of No Age, Margaret Cho, Jason Narducy Telekinesis, Jon Wurster of Superchunk, and Ryan Adams met at Walt Disney Concert Hall and played Bob Mould songs from throughout the concert as a tribute to his music.

In October Bob will visit Argentina and Brazil in what will be his first South American tour, where he will play his solo songs, and the hits of Sugar and Hüsker Dú.

En el marco de su primera gira por Sudamérica, Bob Mould, el guitarrista y vocalista de culto de influyentes bandas de Punk/Hardcore/PowerPop como Hüsker Dü y Sugar, llega a la Argentina el jueves 3 de Octubre para para presentar su último disco, ‘Silver Age‘. en el Teatro Vorterix.

Mould fue fundamental para la música de los 80’s y 90’s, es por eso que en Noviembre del 2011 músicos como Dave Grohl, Britt Daniel de Spoon, Craig Finn y Tad Kubler de The Hold Steady, Randy Randall y Dean Allen Spunt de No Age, Margaret Cho, Jason Narducy de Telekinesis, Jon Wurster de Superchunk, y Ryan Adams se reunieron en Walt Disney Concert Hall y tocaron temas de Bob Mould durante todo el concierto en homenaje a su música.

En el mes de Octubre se presentará en Argentina y Brasil en lo que será su primera gira por Sudamérica, donde repasará su material solista, sin olvidarse de los hits de Sugar y algunos temas de Hüsker Dú.
