Instant love is hard to find. In a society where dating apps and quick hook-ups are prominent, most of us are consistently wondering about our options and who is the right fit for us. In the case of Esbie Fonte and Peter Tilley (partners in music and life) they just knew it when they met at a Guitar Center in Los Angeles. Their new song “Pico & Westwood” references the corner where that store is located.
“Pico & Westwood” is the honeymoon phase in love and the sentimental melancholy that comes along during reminisce, capturing that specific moment when you realize you’ve fallen. – Esbie Fonte
Born in a Peruvian and Italian family in a musical household, Esbie became closely familiar with the struggle that most talented artists face by watching her multi-instrumentalist father navigate the niche of folk and bluegrass music over the course of many years and a cross-country move. Being his biggest fan meant hanging onto his coattails for frequent trips to the local record store, gigs around town and at-home sessions with a variety of string instruments. Stay in touch since Esbie Fonte will be coming with more music this year.
