Escala Sonora Presents iLe at the North Beach Bandshell
With a mission to bridge the gap between rising Latin talent and the fans who support them, the Mishu Music collective created ‘Escala Sonora,’ a series of concerts in the heart of Miami, facilitating its music fans to catch Latinx touring artists who would normally have to miss out on performing in the Magic City due to traditional tour routes.
Escala Sonora‘s debut took place at the Wynwood venue Gramps, featuring Mexican five-piece indie outfit Little Jesus, alongside guest artist Gus. The event was an overwhelming success, increasing the buzz around Escala Sonora, and what they have in store for the city next.
For its second iteration, Escala Sonora presents the celebrated songstress iLe, best known for her danceable and seductive Afro-Caribbean rhythms and boleros, and powerful lyrics that border on poetic activism. Through her music, the singer celebrates her home country of Puerto Rico, while also calling out the harsh realities that plague it. Originally coming to stardom alongside her half-brothers René Pérez Joglar and Eduardo José Cabra Martínez in the famed reggaeton band Calle 13, iLe has carved out her own distinct place in the music world, set apart by her ability to be a messenger of the classic Latin sound, and her moving soulfulness.
This Thursday, September 30th, the singer will grace the stage at the Miami Beach venue, the North Beach Bandshell, as part of her latest tour ‘No es Importante.’ The show will be opened by Colombian by way of New York dream-pop duo Salt Cathedral, who are fresh off their debut album Carisma, released last year.
Don’t miss iLe’s show-stopping live performance alongside her talented nine-piece band for one night only, thanks to Escala Sonora. Get your Tickets Here.
