HARD Events, founded by Gary Richards, (a.k.a. Destructo) returns to Grand Central (697 N Miami Ave) this March with HARD MIAMI, a two night future music extravaganza during Miami Music Week: Wednesday, March 25 and Thursday, March 26.
Night one launches Wednesday, March 25 with Maya Jane Coles, Tchami, Cajmere, Destructo, Shibasan and Amine Edge & DANCE, plus back-to-back sets with Route 94 and Secondcity as well as AC Slater and Amtrac. Night two marks the return of the “Rump Shaker,” a night of superior bass, bounce and beats. Look for its line-up to be announced soon.
Destructo joing the line up of Hard Miami in support of his new EP, West Coast, released via Insomniac/Interscope Records.
The EP announces a fresh direction for the producer/DJ; he takes on a new sound called “g-house” that merges the after-hours energy of dance music with the streetwise wordplay of contemporary hip-hop hit-makers. The EP contains cameos from west coast luminaries like YG, Kurupt, Too $hort, Warren G and Ty Dolla $ign.
