Kurt Vile will play in Miami in February

Kurt Vile will bring his indie, rock folky songs to Miami on February 2nd. The singer songwriter from Philadelphia will play a show at the North Beach Bandshell along with his band The Violators. Early bird tickets went on sale last Friday and you can grab yours here.

Vile, who is signed to Matador records, released his sixth studio album last year called ‘b’lieve i’m goin down. The record features the catchy single “Pretty Pimpin,” which is one of our personal favorites! You can watch the video below.

In case you are not familiar with Kurt Vile’s sound or background there are a few things that we can mention to point you in the right direction. 1- if you are fan of Pavement, Beck, Neil Young or Bob Dylan and you are yet not familiar with his music you have less than two months to catch up and sing along all the songs at the concert. 2 – In the early 2000’s he formed indie rock band The War on Drugs with his long time friend Adam Granduciel, although Vile had been making music on his own for a pretty long time, it’s fair to say that this band introduced him to many national and international listeners. 3 – This guy can do amazing things just with a guitar and a mic.

Check out the video for “Pretty Pimpin” to start warming up!
