Last Tuesday songs, guitars and history were present at Vorterix theatre. Lee Ranaldo, co-founder of the legendary band Sonic Youth, premiered in Buenos Aires his latest album “Between The Times and the Tides”, the first work of his new group “Lee Ranaldo & The Dust”, where Steve Shelley plays drumms.
During the show Lee and his band played their already turned-hits “Off The Wall”, “Xtina As I Knew Her,” “Lost” and surprised with two covers: “Thanks For Sending Me an Angel” (Talking Heads) and “Revolution Blues” (Neil Young). The music was alternated with stories of the adventures of the Sonic Youth guys in New York with Television and Patti Smith among other anecdotes.
At the end of the show Lee shared a few moments of talking and pictures with his fans.

El martes pasado canciones, guitarras e historia se hicieron presentes en el teatro Vorterix. Lee Ranaldo, el co fundador del mítico grupo de vanguardia Sonic Youth, presentó en Buenos Aires su último disco “Between The Times and the Tides”, el primero de su nuevo proyecto “Lee Ranaldo & The Dust”, del que forma parte también el baterista Steve Shelley.
Durante el show Lee, junto a su banda, tocaron sus ya devenidos en hits “Off The Wall“, “Xtina As I Knew Her“, “Lost” y sorprendieron con dos reversiones: “Thanks For Sending Me an Angel” (Talking Heads) y “Revolution Blues” (Neil Young). La música se fue alternando con historias de las andanzas del Sonic Youth en Nueva York junto a los Television y Patti Smith, entre otras anécdotas.
Al finalizar el show Lee bajó del escenario y compartió unos momentos de charlas y fotos con sus fans.
