The Cuban artist Erik Ravelo materialized in his work “The Untouchables” a fact that for many people seem to be invisible: child abuse in many shapes and situations.
In this series of seven images that simulates crucifixion, Ravelo condemns different forms of abuse against children, whether by the negligence of some doctors, aggressiveness and lack of “calculation” of the military forces, the impunity of certain sectors of the church, the indifference of many, among others.

El artista Cubano Erik Ravelo materializó en su obra “Los Intocables” un hecho que para muchos es invisible: el maltrato infantil frecuentemente cristalizado en nuestra sociedad.
En esta serie de siete imágenes que hacen alusión a la crucifixión, Ravelo denuncia distintas formas de abuso hacia los niños, ya sea por parte de la desidia de algunos médicos, la agresividad y falta de “cálculo” de los militares, la impunidad de ciertos sectores de la iglesia, la indiferencia de muchos, entre otros.
