“Seas Of Humanity” is the latest example of synth laden awesomeness coming from Elay Arson, a synthwave/darkwave duo from Colorado Springs, Colorado. The track Seas Of Humanity is as epic as you would expect from the name, a high intensity, firm paced song. The vocals are done by Becca Starr of the Scottish synthwave band The Van Dammage, and work excellent with the guitars, creating vast cities in your mind full of dark corners and bright neon lights. Ans speed. Lots and lots of speed. This is a track made for driving around at night at 110 miles per hour. (From here at Too Much Love we’d like to remind people to at least try to respect the speed limits of their local roads, despite how awesome the music.)
Elay Arson, consisting of Daniel David Larson (synths, drum programming, bass) and Devin Harrison (guitars) is just finished with their latest release, Rites of the Damned, which is the bands first release as a duo. The previous effort, called Bloodbath, was Daniel’s effort alone. Another awesome feature of this new album is the phenomenal cover artwork by the immensely talented Ariel ZB who has done artwork for Perturbator, Deadlife, Akuma, and more.
Make sure you check out the entire Rites of the Damned album, out on July 21st!!
So, without further ado, put on your VR goggles and let’s listen to “Seas of Humanity” ft. Becca Starr
