In expected fashion, Rainsford’s vocals start off the song with a graceful sensuality; rhythmic lyrics and deep vibrato color this electro-pop tune. By the chorus, we’re wrapped up in the ethereal, head-spinning, rush that comes with love. ‘Passionate,’ unabridged and provacative, subtly calls upon a colorful 80s vibe while maintaining Rainsford’s modern flair. 

“Passionate is a song about feeling so much for someone but being unable to act on what you both want so badly,” says Rainsford. At some point in our romantic journeys, everyone feels the ferocity of passion: chemicals bouncing all over the place, obsessive feelings luring us into fantasy land.
