By 2017 everyone knows that the myth of tattoo shops being uninviting or located in dangerous areas is just that, a myth. Tattoos are now something you see every day, and are part of our culture. This is especially noticeable in cities like Miami, LA or New York, where multiple cultures coexist, and personal identity and definition is often aided by tattoos.
But, despite the millions of photos and videos of tattoo artists working, fresh ink and so on, one of the least seen things of this business is the creative process of each artist, the sketching, the consulting with clients to get it just right… So Rosa Negra Tattoo decided to switch up the game for the night of Saturday the 9th!
“The Mum Tattooed” is a showcase oriented at exhibiting the creative and sketching process of tattoo artists. Rosa Negra Tattoo, in collaboration with Marlins Tattoo Parlor, gave a wood cutout of a body to 10 tattoo artists, and asked them let loose on their styles and preferences. With artists from the USA, Colombia, South Korea and more, the evening promises to be one of art exploration and tattoo conversation.
Along with the artists, representatives for various of Miami’s most beloved tattoo shops and parlors will be present. There will be beverages served and a DJ will make sure the evening stays upbeat! Join “The Mum Tattooed” on Saturday at 8pm, at 3432 NW 7th Ave, Miami, Fl.
The event is pet friendly, if your pet can guarantee you will behave.
