It is always an awesome moment when you discover a track that is both heavy hitting and chill. This is exactly what we get with “Mimic”, by the Anglo-French trio Safetalk. For you regular readers, we actually posted about this same band exactly one month ago, talking about their track Gold Of The Highest.

But on to “Mimic”! Right from the start we get a groovy bass line that only gets better as the track goes on. The chorus is a little psychedelic and a whole dose of heavy bass. We like. Over the track the vocals play with some effects, choruses and so on, making the track a journey as much as a moment.

I, for one, would recommend everyone to listen to this track with a decent sound system or good over-ear headphones. Earbuds are probably not going to be good enough.
