“We live in what appears to be a Post-Trend fashion world – with no clear guidelines for our sartorial choices and endless array of options. New shows and collections seem to be springing up constantly throughout the year, consumed hungrily and instantaneously around the world on a variety of platforms before the editors have even filed out the doors. So inundated are we with images that we’d be bored to tears with any single trend by the time hits stores. The solution is to rely on our own instincts… an ability to filter myriad influences to create an unmistakably personal voice.”

I went off the runways and onto the streets and sidewalks for the best looks from #NYFW, exclusive coverage of the street style from the seasonal event. Fall/Winter 2015 trends, move towards a looser outfits, perhaps as a reaction towards the slim ones that had dominated in the past few years. It seems like creative forms of menswear have trumped the industry’s previous obsession for sportswear, still prevalent.
New York Fashion Week street style has found its own voice, despite or due to the freezing weather. It seems like Fashion Week attendees have found the balance between having inspiring outfits and art. The main premise: comfort. The photographers looks caught my attention, they really know how to work the layering style like no one. I saw real clothes on women and men with real jobs to do, running like crazy from one place to another, and when you throw a freezing cold weather into the mix of it, the combinations get even more intriguing.
