Welcome back to Too Much Love’s latest picks of shows not to miss this weekend. Though the rain may cometh, don’t let the slow season slow you down as, yet again, this weekend brings you a plethora of fun music-centric events.

Friday, June 8th – 1 year anniversary @ Las Rosas
Miami’s progeny of music and booze turns one year old on Friday, and the Rosas family have rounded up the troops to make the celebration one to remember. All bases have surely been covered, with a live music line-up including Smvt, Plastic Pinks, Mo’Booty and Antifaces to name a few, and dj sets by DJ Goldie Brown & Jolt Radio. The event promises to be one, sprawling and non-stop party, sustained by Croquetas from Masa Craft, and featuring apparel and hand crafted jewelry from vendors like Sangre Mala (who will be posted up from 5pm-9pm). Come through!
Friday, June 8 – Buried Alive @ Churchill’s Pub
Buried alive, a metal/punk/ noise fest, will also be going down this Friday. The 18+ event starts and 8pm and will be a 3 stage, all night long party, with bands like Disareyen, Born Beneath and MekroniuM included in the lineup. Presale tickets are $5, and are still available on holdmyticket.com.
Saturday, June 9th – Wreckless Eric @ Las Rosas
Las Rosas has a full weekend in store for us, with New Wave rocker legend – Wreckless Eric (aka Eric Goulden) playing on Saturday. The 70’s underground household name has long been a critics favorite, and his new record, ‘Construction Time & Demolition’ is the culmination of over forty years of touring and creating. The show is FREE, and will feature Mr. Entertainment & MLE, Rob Elba, Karōshi and DJ Skidmark on the in-betweens. Doors at 9 pm!
Saturday, June 9th – Cyber Trap Closing Party @ Churchill’s Pub
Miami grown artist AholSniffsGlue will be hosting the final day of the latest iteration of his ‘Cyber trap boutique’ event at Churchill’s this Saturday. The boutique store, run out of the transformed residence at the back of the pub, has been running since the 6th and the ‘official closing of the trap jam’ will be accompanied out with live sets by Jacuzzi Boys and J.T Money, among others. The event will run from 5pm-5am so don’t miss out on some true Miami sh!t.
Sunday June 10th – Monsieur Periné @ North Beach Bandshell
One of Colombia’s premiere bands Monsieur Periné will be performing at the North Beach Bandshell on Sunday from 6:30pm – 10:30pm. The band’s fusion of jazz to traditional Colombian genres (all with an atmospheric modernity), has propelled the newcomers to success, with the band cementing their trajectory by winning the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. Pre-sale tickets are going for $30 on The Rhythm Foundations website, and will be $40 at the door.
Sunday, June 10th – Tropic of Virgo @ The Corner
The Corner will be housing another edition of Tropic of Virgo on Sunday; an event for music lovers everywhere, who don’t normally get to hear their favorite tunes at any old bar or club. Featuring sets and selections from ‘resident mediums’ Terence Tabeau and Patrick Walsh (and special guest Artime), enjoy drink specials courtesy of Espolon Tequila and listen to everything in between the regular top ten you might be subjected to any other place, on any other night.
