Too Much Love Radio Special on Cuban Protest Music

On this week’s TML radio we discuss the historic protests happening in Cuba. We play music by Cuban musicians on the island, starting with the song “Patria y Vida,” which has soundtracked the protests and become a rallying cry around the world.
We also listen to songs by Detenidos, Eskoria, Porno Para Ricardo and Limalla in tribute to Los Frikis — Cuba’s rock ‘n’ roll-loving, misfit punks.
We conclude by discussing another human rights issue — the #FreeBritney movement.
This show first aired live on Jolt Radio on July 15th, 2021. Hosted by Celia Almeida and Florencia Franceschetti.
Too Much Love airs every first and third Thursday of the month live at 6 pm EST from the Jolt Radio studios in Miami. You can stream the show live on joltradio.org
