Using violin, vocals, guitar, electronics, field recordings, tape loops, drum machines, feedback and more, Chelsea Bridge of Chicago will be kicking of her tour alongside Street Rat at Churchill’s tonight starting at 8 pm. The experimental artists will be given some local-ish support from Orlando based Fjishwjfe and Mother Juno and Miami’s own, I’m Your Knife and Glass Body. Analog erotica will be curated by Haley McCormick, and $5 will be collected at the door for their troubles.

Longtime artist and educator Rafa Vargas Bernard is the latest solo artists to be funded by the Mauer Family Foundation. A specialist in performance, sound, action, installation, sculpture, painting, and video his work is the latest to be featured at the Arts and Culture Center, for their new edition of their bi-monthly, themed, cocktail gathering that brings artists and new audiences together. Grab a cocktail and Listen to “Those Bits of Data Will Consume You” and the “Automated Algorithmic Chance Routine” as the artist reads information about Brock Pierce’s life and business endeavors, encouraging us to engage with kinetic sound sculptures. The event begins at 6 pm and is free for member and only $7 for non-members.

Celebrating the release of Darkwave electronic artist Anshaw Black’s new EP, head on over to one of 229’s final nights on vinyl. The 229 Warehouse has been a highly influential space for the creative community over the years, lending artists an open safe space to express themselves freely and create the most unique experiences Miami has to offer, and it is coming to a close. The night will also showcase some top tier dj’s includongBlack Merlin, Sister System and Jonny From Space. The artists are known for their high intensity, industrial acid techno, and electro music. Described by Tiny Mix Tapes as: “Debasing pop and experimental electronic in the most tender, loving way possible” Macula Dog from Brooklyn, NY will also be at 229 on Saturday. Joining the weird and wonderful line-up is Cabo boing , Pariah 4 (The latest iteration of the band is back in action), Roover Hook, and Juancy. Doors will open at 8 pm, with music starting straight after, and a $6 fee will be necessary to support the touring artists.

Following Cinco de Nacho, a free vinyl fair on the patio of Electric Pickle starting at 3 pm and in association with Melinda’s, the party will be moving upstairs at 9 pm for a rowdy electronic voyage into neo-disco tunes. The line-up includes True Vine who you may have seen at III Points, among others, and the party will go on till its 5 am closing time. Limited $5 tickets are currently available via Eventbrite, so get them while you can.

Hante, the one-woman synth project from Paris, France (not texas), will be at Las Rosas emitting some haunting darkwave and striking electronic sounds, alongside Cologne-based (German, not the scent) band Box and the Twins. As always there is no cover and doors are at 9 pm.

Head to the Anderson next Thursday to catch Las Nubes perform live alongside Glass Body, Sans Pisces and Pocos Postres, for the latest iteration of Cry-Baby hosted by Panther Cordts. With vendors set up throughout the venue, and drink specials all night you definitely not want to miss this free night of music. Things kick off at 9 pm, with the live bands going on starting from 10 pm.
