Carmen Ferreira de Terenzio

Carmen F. de Terenzio is a contemporary art curator with a background in design and a passion for exploring the intersection of art and women’s studies. Her work centers on rethinking how art can reshape narratives and expand conversations about identity and culture. Driven by her commitment to promoting innovative voices, she co-founded State of Wonder, which started as an online gallery for curated, limited edition prints and original artworks. The platform has since evolved into a dynamic writing space that embraces diverse perspectives and stories. In 2022, Carmen earned a Master’s in Curatorial Practice from the Istituto Europeo di Design in Florence, refining her approach to connecting contemporary art with audiences and critical discourse. Now focused on research and writing, she continues to explore the role of art in today’s world.
