info@toomuchlovemagazine.comVeronica Pesantes is an arts writer, curator, designer and founder of Miami Art Hang, an afternoon-long experience designed to decode Miami’s vibrant art scene for long-time collectors and novices alike. After studying fine arts at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, she earned a BA with honors in Art History and Latin American Studies from SMU followed by an MA from the University of Chicago in Art History. She left a doctorate program at Chicago to work at the Guggenheim Museum where she was Manager of International Education Programs. She has taught, published, and lectured in the US, Latin America, and Europe. Her writing and curatorial work focuses on decolonizing the Eurocentric narrative of Modern Art. She lives in El Portal, FL with her two daughters, a rescue dog and two nearly invisible cats.
