Recently delivering an inspired new album Hypnos, Xeno & Oaklander (AKA Sean McBride and Liz Wendelbo) will be bringing their unique sounds of analog synths, frequencies, and beats to Las Rosas this Friday. Joining the duo on the lineup the Minimal electronic project of Philadelphia based artist and synthesist Lira Marie Landes has also be added, making the night a must see for Miami All-Wave lovers. Doors are at 10:00 PM, DJ Carlo Vajra spinning some vinyl in the in-betweens. As always, the event is free of charge, so check it out!

Debuting their recently announced series of tribute nights to some of the great artists of all time. Brothers and brawlers start strong with an homage to the great Miles Davis, one of the greatest jazz trumpeters, bandleader and composer of all time. Mark Small, will be performing in tribute to the late, musician, himself an accomplished musician, most notably being the tenor guy in Michael Buble’s touring and recording ensemble. Expect some of Davis’s great hits intermingled with the lesser-known standards that’ll take you for a ride back in time. Sip on select wines and beers while lending your ears to music in its purest form. The event starts at 8 pm, and admittance to the event is free with an rsvp via Eventbrite.

Club Koi is back with another late night edition, bringing you drag performances, Dj’s, and brilliant hosts. The night’s theme is Neo Dystopia, so expect the demons to creep out for this one. The Performace art theater and comedy club moved into the 2nd ave space last year, renovating and gearing up the joint to make it a new ‘it’ venue. Check out the fun night, which starts at 11 pm, going on the early hours, for only $10 at the door. The inclusive event is also 18+ so you can leave those fake ID’s at home.

Psychedelic rock band/ soul collective will be joined by Canadian experimental and performance art collective Yamantaka // Sonic Titan, in what is such to be a mind-bending show at Gramps this Saturday. Self described “operatic psych cult, rock band and the speculative prophets of humanity’s impending doom” Yamantaka // Sonic titan along with psych-rock legends Acid Mothers Temple will be transmitting their brand of Asian C-pop, prog- rock, meets industrial and atonal screams meeting disco-rock grooves respectively for the night. Local support comes from miami psych band Jaialai. Tickets are currently available via ticketfly for $18, and doors are at 8 pm, so dose accordingly.

Honey, the new monthly funk and soul party bring their latest edition to Rosas, this month bringing us the debut of the Bronx, NY Native- Antonio Sanchez. Better known as “Tony from the Bronx”, he is not only a master guitar player but a first-class vocalist. Bringing his multi-dimensional sound, ranging from a sweet falsetto to a heart-wrenching growl, the soulful artist will be doing his Latin soul rendition of none other than James Brown. Also on the lineup, from Toronto, Canada – Tambourine Party Records returns to light up the dance floor, alongside Mango Hill Records alumnus Andy Garcia & Travis Acker (also a Jolt radio Dj).
