When it comes to breaking up the monotony of mainstream circles and bringing something truly passionate to the table, you have to look at the work of bands like Ships Have Sailed and singer/songwriters like Abby Posner, all of whom have come together to do a double-whammy collab in a song titled “Get Loud” which today has a new acoustic version.
The lyrics of "Get Loud" convey a message of resilience and determination. The imagery of someone knocking at the front door and leaving the speaker with ‘less than before’ is an unequivocal sign that the track is locked and loaded with a clear intention: When injustice and abuses abound, you must make a stand before they take it all away.
