Raw, intense, and deeply personal, In My Bones is AVATARI’s latest offering, marking his return to digital platforms with a track that dives headfirst into the depths of obsessive love.
Drenched in indie rock grit, layered with reverberating guitar pedals, noisy melodies, and melancholic lyrics, the independent artist—known for his resilience and survival story after years of addiction—captures a universal feeling: that crushing attachment to someone you can’t shake, no matter how hard you try.
"This song is about desire. That thing where you want something (or someone) so bad that it completely takes you over: mind, body, and spirit. The whole shebang. Obsession. Where you lose all control over your behavior and your thoughts. And 99% of your brain goes into that person," AVATARI shares.
The artist first burst onto the music scene with Legacy, his debut single, which catapulted his career after being featured in Rolls-Royce’s ad campaign for the Ghost model.
Now, AVATARI is stepping onto even bigger stages. He’s set to headline the legendary Troubadour in Los Angeles on April 12, and he’ll be performing at Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco (August 8-10), sharing the bill with Hozier, Tyler the Creator, Bleachers, and Doja Cat.
He’s also up for two Hollywood Music Video Awards—Best Alternative Rock and Best Makeup and Hairstyling—competing against big names like Foster the People, Benson Boone, Lady Gaga, and Sabrina Carpenter.
AVATARI is a force to be reckoned with, and the phoenix that blazes his logo isn’t just an aesthetic choice but a statement. A reminder that he has walked through the fire, felt the flames consume him, and still, he rose from the ashes.
In My Bones is another spark in that rising inferno—a song dripping with hunger, desire, and raw vulnerability. He doesn’t just tell stories; he lives them, breathes them, turns them into melodies, and spits them out as sonic confessionals. His journey is only beginning, but the flames are already burning high. Festivals, nominations, bright lights—everything points to an artist who has no plans of fading out.
