Country and Glam Are Becoming One Within Cody Belew’s New Album “I Did It for Love”

Cody Belew is a country boy through and through, his southern roots are one of the things that make his music something special. After leaving a very strong mark on the audiences and critics alike with his previous singles he's now dropping “I Did It for Love.”

Cody's music has reignited a passion for glam rock, blending it seamlessly with his southern flair. His innovative approach has attracted a new generation of fans, breathing life back into a genre many thought was long gone. By fusing the theatricality of glam with heartfelt country storytelling, he managed to put himself on everyone's radar. Have you ever wondered what if Freddie Mercury and Dolly Parton had a child? Well, now you know.

"I Did It for Love," his new album is composed of ten songs. A few previously released and some new tracks like "Love Song To The South" where Cody explores delicate subjects about American culture such as racism, slavery, and segregation while also delving deep into the darker corners of his past. Another worthy highlight is the playful "Long Long Row," taking country, rock, and even gospel into one eclectic mix. Cody's a healing potion for the soul. "Mother Mary" is a reminder of the power of faith and believing in something greater than ourselves.

"I Did It For Love" touches the heart and speaks to us on an almost spiritual level. Cody Belew has managed to recruit us into his church, and we gladly accept him as our guide.
