I found clarity as I watched several people close to me realize that they had outgrown their relationships. We were having extensive conversations about what it meant to compromise versus settle. Sometimes the most difficult thing is walking away from something that still holds goodness, that still holds hope, and potential, but at the end of the day, change happens with or without you.
