Holly Hollows Is Showing Us the Two Sides of the Coin in Her New Album “Holly Hollows the Musical”

Known for her intrepid poetry and extraordinary singing skills Holly Anne Mitchell is gracing the world with her new album "Holly Hollows The Musical." Using the name Holly Hollows as her artistic persona the theatrical indie pop solo project plays into the duality of life, light, and shadow, good and bad, and chaos and order. Inspired by feminine icons St. Vincent, Karen O, and Lana Del Ray, Holly has crafted a unique, dark, and intimate style. She's ready to take listeners into her world where ethereal melodies reign supreme. Using her music to recover from PTSD her journey is one of transformation. Refusing to let her personal trauma take her down she used her pain in the creative process. The result is a shattering of societal norms, challenging the idea of "spiritual passing."

From the creator of "Blood Supply: A Zombie Apocalypse Love Story" comes a new album about the afterlife "Holly Hollows The Musical." Death brings aspiring pop stars to the underworld with all their unfinished songs and dreams. A demon producer watches over all hell breaking loose as love, fame, and sex transform into nightmares. Beware, creators, your desires may lead to your downfall. With seven astounding songs, each one offering something different Holly is displaying the full extent of her artistry. We start the album with "DJ Sans A Dance Floor," the electro-pop anthem is full of emotions with Holly's signature style permeating the whole ordeal. It is very reminiscent of Madonna's "Music" and "Hung Up." Overall, it is a very strong starting point. Next, we have "Make Me Your Machine," as we stir away from electro-pop into alt-pop waters, Holly's sweet voice is perfectly complemented by a steady rhythm. "Make Me Your Machine" is a great track that demonstrates Holly's versatility and skill as a songwriter. Like a "Chameleon," Holly shifts once again gears. Her voice demands your attention and it will be impossible to resist her command. "Un/luckiest" shows us the duality of human nature. Life might favor some but others might not be so lucky. Holly's powerful lyrics and catchy melody will make you fall in love with her music. It's an emotional track that will make you take a step back and reflect on your own life. "Number" is next on the list and my personal favorite. A cinematic and beautiful ballad to contrast with all the energy that came before. We are now in acoustic territory with "Walking Up Hills" where we're going to find little traces of Alanis Morissette all over the melody. It is fantastic how Holly takes aspects of other artists to craft her approach. Her creativity and imagination know no bounds. Ending our little journey is "Leading Lady," a culmination of everything we've heard so far. The song is the ideal ending to the album, an exquisite and mightful song that leaves us wanting more. It's the perfect track to wrap up a journey that was filled with emotion, creativity, and innovation.

Holly Hollows is an artist destined for greatness. Both of her previous albums offered different experiences and brought her audience into her melodic world. Her sound perfectly encapsulates the constant dualities of our world, where things always have an opposite, even ourselves.
