"Hot Like Summer" shows us what she's truly capable of. Flawlessly mixing pop with a pinch of retro sound. I could easily see this tune topping every pop chart out there! The catchy hook and catchy beats make this track stand out from the rest. It's the perfect choice for those looking to have a good time and is sure to become a timeless classic. Skyler’s lyrical work is simply put, amazing. I mean just look at them "This love is a West Coast summer / Just us in the heat wave thunder / Cold sheets when you pull me under / Make it hot like summer, love" Is going to be impossible to resist the urge to dance while listening to this masterpiece. The melody and rhythm of the song make it that much easier to groove to and the lyrics make it that much easier to sing along. The beat of the music is so infectious it is impossible to stay still while listening to it. The lyrics are written in such a way that it will draw you to an unforgettable experience. Skyler will make them feel like you are part of the song. This 80s-inspired, hook-heavy, synth-infused love song was entirely written, produced, and mixed by Skyler herself (a one-woman show). "Hot Like Summer" was inspired by a summer romance - the kind of cute, fun, accidentally recorded sex tape on a Ring camera in the backyard - that led to real love, and the playful lyrics.
