Josie Ho is an undeniable champion of Hong Kong culture and arts, and this coming February 27th, the City of London is going to get a taste of it all, when Josie & the Uni Boys take over the stage of indigo at The O2, alongside Paul Wong, 24Herbs and LMF.
Dubbed Dragon Rock, the concert takes its aesthetic foundation and name after Bruce Lee’s legendary Way Of The Dragon the film that some would argue completely legitimized and set in stone Hong Kong cinema in the west. Similarly, these artists are bringing the power and unique style of the modern Hong Kong rock scene in their native land to the UK, expecting a full takeover by featuring some of the biggest and most influential exponents of the genre.
Hip-hop collectives LMF and 24Herbs deliver a hybrid urban sound that embodies the pulse of Hong Kong’s youth culture. Paul Wong, legendary lead guitarist of the iconic rock band Beyond, has shaped the city’s music and film scene since 1985 with his groundbreaking career. Meanwhile, Josie Ho—a multi-award-winning actress, producer, and singer—stands at the forefront of Hong Kong’s rock movement, fearlessly championing its raw and rebellious spirit on a global scale.
