Well-known Nigerian rapper Akumefule Chukwu-Emeka, known professionally as Blaqbonez has made a name for himself through his original approach to rap mixed with his creative flair. One of the most notable aspects of Blaqbonez’s persona is his controversial self-proclaimed title as the “Best Rapper in Africa” (BRIA). Born in Lagos, Nigeria on January 29, 1996, Emeka was raised in the Igbo culture. The Igbo tribe dominates Imo state in south-eastern Nigeria, where Blaqbonez hails from.
