“Nirvana” was born a year ago, during a particularly turbulent period in Miss Machina’s life. In her LA apartment, she grappled with the aftermath of a heartbreak she describes as “one of my most heartbreaking… and ironically mature relationships.” As the relationship dissolved, she noticed how even the smallest things reminded her of her lost love.

“Things as simple as driving through a neighborhood, walking in a grocery store, listening to a band… all now feel painful and different because the person who I shared so much of my life is no longer there.”
