Butcher Billy is a Brazilian graphic designer and illustrator who sees Morrissey, Ian Curtis, Siouxsie, Billy Idol and Robert Smith as they really are (or were) Pop Culture Superheroes!

As a kid from the 80’s, his work is inspired by comics, TV, movies, music, videogames and magazines. In his art pieces he blends all his passions creating stunning posters, T-shirts, and even iPhone covers!

He defines his Post-Punk / New Wave Super Friends collection as “Real people or imaginary characters, the incorruptible ideals of perfect superheroes or the human flaws and desires sometimes so desperately depicted in song lyrics”.

Butcher Billy es un diseñador gráfico e ilustrador brasileño que ve a Morrissey, Ian Curtis, Siouxsie, Billy Idol y Robert Smith como realmente son (o eran) Superhéroes de la Cultura Pop!

Gracias a su infancia durante los ‘80, su obra está inspirada en los cómics, la televisión, películas, música, videojuegos y revistas. En sus trabajos se combinan todas sus pasiones creando impresionantes pósters, remeras e incluso cubiertas para iPhone!

Butcher Billy define su colección Post-Punk / New Wave Super Friends como: “personas reales o personajes imaginarios, los ideales incorruptibles de superhéroes perfectos con los defectos humanos y los deseos, a veces, representados con desesperación en letras de una canción“.
