Dream Boys – Dream Boys
Dream Boys are a modern day Transatlantic love affair realized. Consisting of three Americans and one Scotsman, the Boys songs have the spirit of Postcard records filtered through the rural haze of the Paisley Underground. Pure pop with nods to New Zealand’s Flying Nun Records and an aura of psychedelia akin to the Church. The music floats around notions of time and space, love and heartbreak, the highs and lows of simply carrying on with a range of emotion and introspection. One can’t imagine these songs coming from any other band or from any other time other than now. These songs are psychedelic in the truest sense and evoke a sense of two places or states of being at one – picture a Californian sun rises on a Glasgow street or rain fall during an indian summer. Dream Boys’ music lies somewhere in between this musical dream, in love with pop music with a sincerity unmatched.
Dream Boys Self-Titled Debut is out today via Art Fag.

Clara Moto – ‘Blue Distance’
Clara Moto first stepped into the spotlight with her stunning debut album Polyamour on InFiné in 2010. Intimate and fragile, yet all the while joyful, witty and immediate, the album offered a fresh, intelligent and decidedly female take on the predominantly male genre of techno music and received wide-spread praise throughout the music press.
Now, three years later, Clara returns with her second full-length, an album that is every bit as close up and personal as her debut, but at the same time more intricate and thoughtful, more introspective and melancholic than its predecessor. Blue Distance is named after a line from a poem by Sylvia Plath and circles around the theme of remoteness
Blue Distance is a confident second album that is not afraid to gracefully defy expectations, and can be taken as a statement that Clara does not intend to play it safe in the years to come.
‘Blue Distance’ will be out on November 5th on InFiné

Paradise 100 – ‘The Loin King’
Scotland-born Parisian Paradise 100 has been percolating stripped-back, bouncy-castle house constructs onto the web for a couple years but never locked them in wax till now. High time.
Following his minimalist dictum that “any more than three tracks on a song is just indulgence,” his debut EP’s four cuts on ‘The Loin King’ share a sleek, spare design, jigsawing slinky bass, classic keys, lean drum programming, and flashes of synth mirage into fluid, aerodynamic patterns. Touches of melodic acid and crossover new wave color the mood an exotic, hedonistic hue (further evinced by titles like “The Loin King” and “French Kissing In The House Of Love”). His own vision of the project is appropriately fantastical: “The image in my mind is of tropical forests at night, torchlight, distant sounds of tribal ritual dance and ghosts.”
‘The Loin King’ comes out October 1st on 100% Silk.
Dream Boys – Dream Boys

Clara Moto – ‘Blue Distance’

Paradise 100 – ‘The Loin King’
