As it often goes with great things, in the most unsuspected of places, fortuitous meetings and opportunities arise, and for producers Ben Payton and William Duvall, a simple meeting in a local Barbershop in Austin, Texas ignited a project that began with unorthodox beats and has now evolved into a fully-fledged musical project titled BeenWell.
BeenWell is refined and experimental EDM in its coolest form, and their newest track, “real real love” exemplifies that by bringing us a beautiful chill combo of deep house, house, and lo-fi house into the ultimate cruise-around track.
Crafted in the vibrant outdoor setting of Camp East in Austin, this track embodies a fresh and energetic vibe that resonates with that laid-back atmosphere where they conjured up this song in a matter of hours, saying: “This was our first time making a song outdoors and ultimately, we created, mixed, and mastered this song in just a few hours.”
In under nine months, BeenWell has achieved an impressive milestone, accumulating approximately 660,000 streams from a diverse audience of about 262,000 listeners worldwide. This remarkable achievement highlights the growing popularity of BeenWell's music, who themselves have committed to releasing new and highly innovative EDM sounds on a monthly basis, so even with “real real love”, they’re just getting started.
