Miami-based band Mold! shares "Choose to be Controlled," the third and last single off their upcoming LP, due out in September. The track is a powerful injection of noise and punk, with a splash of psychedelia.
Carlo Barbacci (Guitar - Vocals - Synths), Bronto Montano (Bass - Vocals), and Frankie Lujan (Drums), followed the same recipe that lead them the title of Miami New Times Best Emerging Act 2021, and teamed up once again with sound engineer Ryan Haft (Torche, Wrong, Jacuzzi Boys) for recording and co-producing their new album. “The song is about carving our own path in a world full of powerful people trying to control us and how some of us choose to be controlled for comfort, while some others find the strength to find freedom just to realize freedom hurts too.” - Carlo Barbacci
MOLD! will be playing their album release show on September 16th at Gramps, Miami, presented by The Black Market and with special guests Wrong, Palomino Blond, and Frogs Show Mercy. Tickets Here.
