Asian American artist Star2’s craft is a testament to his resilience and perseverance, and he’s ready to share his story with the world. Star2 is a true survivor. Born in a Karen refugee camp in Thailand, he endured an incredibly difficult childhood filled with loss and poverty. However, rather than letting these hardships break him, he rose to the challenge life placed before him.
He has crafted a dynamic global sound blending pop and hip-hop, all while standing as a proud figure in the Karen music community and using his platform to uplift other Asian artists. His collaborations include Soulja Boy, Mozzy, Lil Poppa, Luh Kel, HoodTrophy Bino, $tupid Young, and Sprite. His most recent release, however, shines a light on his Karen brothers from the refugee camps, featuring talents such as Chinatown Runner, Ler Mu Dex, Eh La, Tae Tae, Gee Kade, and M Bless.
His latest release, "You're Still The Same," is a track that resonates with everyone, tackling the universal theme of toxic relationships and the journey to breaking free.
