The day continues with the South Beach Wine & Food Festival Drag Brunch and the bold sounds at DOMAIN at Grimz, while the Homestead Black History Block Party celebrates culture and unity through inspiring performances. On Sunday, experience a refreshing mix of humor with Carlos Jelambi's INDEPENDIENTE, and emerging talent shines at the Miami Girls Rock Camp Youth Open Mic with an acoustic set by host Raffa Jo. Spooky Gringa and The Reverend deliver deep rock ‘n’ roll vibes, while Iron Buddha debuts their heavy sludge sound. Miami Girls Rock Camp Youth Open Mic: where young creatives take the stage to share their talents. Expect tropical vibes, delicious pizza, and a community that celebrates music and self-expression. This month features a special acoustic set by MGRC Youth Open Mic host Raffa Jo, bringing heartfelt folk songs to the mix. Open to all youth (and accompanying adults) up to age 25—come perform, support, and soak in the magic.
Rhythm and Blues at The Corner. Performing behind the decks are @nonchalantjon and @hij0pr0dig0. The Rice and Peas Quartet, led by co-creator and lead vocalist @amar.is.online, will deliver a captivating house jazz performance. The evening begins with a 45-minute set at 11 PM, followed by a community jam session inviting participants to showcase their talents. Attendees are encouraged to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere with a drink and dance.
Diego Melgar Presents Swamp Lily at Sweat Records: Led by @diegounchained, the genre-bending project will feature selections from their upcoming EP “Swamp Lily” alongside previews of new, unannounced material. Attendees can expect a transcendent musical experience in a welcoming, all-ages environment with snacks and refreshments available.
