Some new, some old, and some are just too good! To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month the TML team put together a playlist highlighting some songs by Latino artists we love. Our selection includes bands and solo artists based all across the US, with Miami sounds in the spotlight such as Las Nubes, Richie Hell, and Mold!. From The Mars Volta to The Marias, this playlist is eclectic as the influence that Latin sounds have on American music. You can dive deep into psychedelia; vibe to indie melodies, and even get sentimental with remakes of classics, such as Dracula’s somber take on Selena’s Como La Flor. To create this playlist we teamed up with Alamos Wines, that in conjunction with Hispanic Star, launched the #IAM100 campaign. The program invites wine lovers to share their heritage stories for a chance to win a party package and be featured on the Alamos Instagram page throughout September. As part of the campaign, the winery will also donate over 1,000 meals to families facing food insecurity in select cities including Miami, Austin, the San Francisco Bay Area, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, and San Diego. So uncork a bottle of Malbec and hit play!
