Friday, June 15th – Otto Von Schirach and The Galactic Effect @ 1306
Also on Friday, bizarro aficionado Otto Von Schirach, will be celebrating the long awaited release of his Draculo EP along with fellow transcendentalist and Miami local, The Galactic Effect; who will be releasing his Seldom Wind LP. True to form, these tropical musicians won’t be throwing your average release event, and have instead declared a release party duel. What does that mean exactly? Who knows, but if there’s any chance of an Miami bass/electronic battle to death, I know you Miamian’s won’t want to miss it. Along with the headliners there will be numerous supporting DJ sets including Somejerk and Gucci Bass, live art and vendors. The event is 21+, free before 11pm and will be running from 10:00 pm to 04:00 am. More info
Saturday June 16th – Crud, Wrong, Shroud Eater and Holly Hunt @ Las Rosas

The show will also mark the countdown for Wrong’s upcoming tour with Unsane in July. Last but certainly not least, crowned metalhead Rick Smith will be keeping things steamrolled with his DJ set into the late hours. The high energy event not only hosts a killer lineup, its is freeeeeee, so don’t miss out. More info

Saturday, June 16th – Subtropics 2018 Marathon
Hosted by performance art theater Audiotheque, and in partnership with the South Florida Art Center, Subtropics 2018 Marathon is once again bringing you a night of experimental music for their latest annual evening-length showcase of sonic performance, sound art and the general beyond. Endeavoring to shine a spotlight on, and give a stage to, mostly Miami-based experimental musicians, the event will be starting at 5pm, and, to quote the hosts, will finish “when it’s over”. This vagueness may be a necessity, as the lineup boasts works and performances by over 40 artists. Show your support! More info
