The LA-based “Death Pop” duo pair with the Deftones frontman to create a haunting new single. It premiered today (1/25) on Billboard!
Some say that sequels and second comings are lesser, mere shadows of the original – but as usual, VOWWS prove the exception to this rule, with their latest single “Structure Of Love II”.
The single features an incredibly powerful Chino Moreno (Deftones, Palms) on vocals and was co-produced and mixed by Danny Lohner aka Renholdër (known for his work with Nine Inch Nails, Marylin Manson).
“Structure Of Love II” was re-written by the band to suit Chino’s vocals, then it was re-mixed at Lohners’ LA studio, and mastered in NYC by Emily Lazar (Depeche Mode, David Bowie).
The first version of “Structure Of Love” was a featured single on VOWWS’ sophomore album Under The World. Now, with a new breath of life and another round in the spotlight, the track becomes a roller coaster of sound and emotion. Creeping verses and stuttering beats explode into a dramatic and panoramic chorus, elegantly voicing the confusion and chaos of modern love.
Chino has been a fan of VOWWS for a while now, most notably handpicking the band to play the inaugural Dia De Los Deftones music festival in San Diego.
It’s here! Turn up the volume and enjoy!!
