Miami’s own Cog Nomen did a double great job with this track and video for “Fear Of Missing Out”. Lots of effects on the vocals, a loopy melody and groovy drums, make for an upbeat, ambiental, trippy and overall good feeling track. This does not mean that the track is a happy go lucky number, especially with the vocals, which are a of a more somber tone. The track starts off darker than it ends, a progression towards the light and a better feeling.
Cog Nomen are an Electro-Pop Psyche-Rock duo from Miami, consisting of Ulysses Perez who triggers bass lines and samples while playing drums and singing through a “vocodor” robot voice effect and guitarist Buffalo Brown who loop-records his analog synthy guitar and also sings. The video for “Fear Of Missing Out” features an all female cast, and features a mix of Miami cultures.
Give it a watch and a listen and show some love!
