Rising Dominican pop phenom, Letón Pé, is known for her unique blend of pop and Afro-Caribbean rhythms, as well as her vibrant and energetic performances. She was named by Rolling Stone earlier this year as "one of the 10 Latin Acts Set To Make It Big In 2023", and we will be lucky enough to catch her at the Pérez Art Museum in Miami for free (with RSVP) on Thursday, June 29 as part of the Backroom Sessions series, and presented by Escala Sonora. Miami funk outfit Clean Cut will play an opening set and then join Letón as her live band.
During the set, Letón Pé promises to perform some of her hits like “KLK Tu Bebe” and “Perder el Control”, as well as more recent releases like “Bailo Pa Mi” and “Rojo Rubí". Her playful lyrics explore themes of love, loss, and the overall soul-searching experience. One of our favorite tracks is pretty on-brand for Miami. "Dale" is the perfect soundtrack to spend a summer afternoon at the beach sipping on Mango Margaritas or on a deliciously cold beer.
So, Dale, make sure to RSVP below and hit play to start warming up for the show.
