“El Huevo” Closes Its Miami Run with a Special Performance at DORCAM

After more than 70 performances and over 4,000 spectators, El Huevo, an internationally recognized play awarded at the Brisk Festival in Los Angeles, will conclude its Miami run with a performance at the Doral Contemporary Art Museum (DORCAM) on Saturday, March 15, at 7:30 PM.

This event marks the closing night of the third edition of Noches de Arte, Teatro, Música y Literatura, a cultural initiative by We Art Foundation, which has become a key part of Miami Women’s Month 2025. The play premiered in Miami with a sold-out performance at Ascaso Art Gallery on March 1, followed by a March 8 showing at DORCAM Pop-Up at CityPlace in recognition of International Women’s Day. The final performance at DORCAM will bring the production’s Miami run to a close with a night that highlights the intersection of theater, visual arts, and live performances.

Written by Nuria Anglés and starring Constanza Espejo and Naue Souto, El Huevo is an immersive production that takes place in a gallery setting. The story follows two strangers who find themselves in front of a sculpture, engaging in a conversation that explores art, motherhood, love, and the ways in which people interpret reality. The 55-minute performance invites audiences to reflect on human relationships and artistic perception in a setting that blurs the line between exhibition space and stage.

El Huevo's closing night will be on March 15 at DORCAM

To complement the performance, the evening will also include a belly dance presentation by Matisa and live music by Ciey and Samara, adding additional artistic elements to the event.

Presented by We Art Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting art as a tool for social and cultural transformation, Noches de Arte, Teatro, Música y Literatura has become a recurring event in Miami’s creative scene. Actress and artistic director Constanza Espejo, recognized with the Broadway World Award 2024 for her performance in Las Marcas del Mar, has played a key role in shaping this initiative into a platform that highlights the power of the arts.

Created by Power2Voice, We Art, and DORCAM, Miami Women’s Month is a month-long celebration dedicated to honoring and empowering women through art, culture, and meaningful conversations. Featuring talks, performances, exhibitions, and networking opportunities, the initiative unites women from diverse backgrounds to inspire change, amplify voices, and foster connections in Miami’s vibrant cultural landscape.
