SCOPE Miami Beach, the pioneering art show for experiential innovation and discovery in contemporary and emerging art, returns to Ocean Drive and 8th Street for its 22nd edition. The New Contemporary, an experiential multidisciplinary exhibition space, returns to the SCOPE pavilion located in its expanded atrium and will present daily programming featuring large-scale installations, talk series, performances, and morning wellness. SCOPE’s list of over 110 highly curated participants features three sector categories: Futures,photo basel + SCOPE, and Core.
“We are thrilled to return to Miami Beach for our 22nd edition of SCOPE,” said Alexis Hubshman, Founder of SCOPE. “For over 20 years, SCOPE Miami Beach has been committed to showcasing artwork presented by contemporary galleries from around the world. This year, we are upping the ante with a record amount of Curatorial Award and Travel Grant recipients to galleries featuring the work of artists from a vast array of backgrounds, cultures, and experiences.”

The New Contemporary
It is with tremendous excitement that SCOPE returns to its roots by embracing its transformation from a scrappy upstart to respected platform for a vanguard of participants presenting a view of the contemporary art world available nowhere else.
Uniquely, SCOPE invites its participants to play a starring role in the creative vision of what an art show can and should be by shaping its flagship New Contemporary Program, a multidisciplinary exhibition space located at the front of the show. Curated galleries will feature large-scale installations, iconic artwork, talk series opportunities and museum-quality performances against the backdrop of curatorial meet-and-greet breakfasts, collector tours and a museum prize.
The complete program for SCOPE Miami Beach 2023 will be released in the coming weeks with information on this year’s partnerships, exhibitors, programming, and awards - all things that SCOPE is keeping in line with our core focus of emerging talent, experiential innovation, and both global politics and local community engagement.
