Ximena Sariñana Brings Her Rompe Tour to Miami

Born in Guadalajara and raised in Mexico City, Ximena Sariñana grew up surrounded by creativity, with a filmmaker father and a screenwriter mother. At just two years old, she attended an Ella Fitzgerald concert—a pivotal moment that sparked her lifelong passion for music. She later honed her talents at Mexico's prestigious Academia de Música Fermatta and even studied briefly at Berklee College of Music.

After making a name for herself as a child actress in popular telenovelas like Luz Clarita and María Isabel, Sariñana launched her music career with the critically acclaimed album Mediocre (2008). The album earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album and platinum certification in Mexico. Since then, she's released a string of albums—including No Todo Lo Puedes Dar and ¿Dónde Bailarán Las Niñas?—and collaborated with artists ranging from Natalia Lafourcade to Tegan & Sara, Miguel Bosé, and Dillon Francis.

Her live performances have lit up stages at iconic festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Bonnaroo, and now she's ready to set Miami ablaze with her latest EP, Rompe, and recent singles like “ALV” and “Chispa Roja.”
