Thursday, June 27th – Cavity A.D., Beat Obsolete, Glass Body @ Las Rosas
OG Miami sludge-metal band Cavity A.D. (FKA Cavity) will be playing at Las Rosas tonight, for the first time in two years featuring special guests Beat Obsolete and Glass Body. As it happens, their last Miami show was with Prison Warder and Other Body two of whose members – Bryan Adams and Andrew McLees respectively – now play in Cavity A.D. The latest iteration of the band are fresh from the release of their latest LP ‘Wraith’, the follow up to 2017’s ‘After Death’ (which was their first new release in 17 years). Doors are at 9 pm with Glass Body kicking things off at 10:30 pm. As always with our favorite dive bar, the event is free of charge. Check it out.
Friday, June 28th – Collapse @ Technique Records
Head to Technique Records this Friday for their monthly all-vinyl Industrial and Post Punk party, Collapse. Not only will the event make all your Goth dreams come true, but it also marks Technique’s owner and founder, Mikey Ramirez’s birthday. Dj sets will be brought to you by Rippin Kittin (Nowhere Girl Radio), Flor Frances (of Too Much Love Magazine) and Dj Dino (Synthology 101). The free, all ages event will run from 7 -10 pm.

Saturday, June 29th – Honey: A one year anniversary @ Las Rosas
Mango Hill Records is celebrating 1 year of their Funk and Soul Party ‘Honey’ this Saturday at Las Rosas. If you haven’t yet had the joy of experiencing one of these high energy events, this is the one to check out. The lineup is stacked and includes a large percentage of the Mango Hill family including the inimitable The Black Dove, Stone Cash Players (who will also be celebrating the release of their latest LP As The Screw Turns), The lovely ladies of Mia Y Los Tuyos among many others. Head to this free event is you like Soul, Funk and a good time. The venue is 21+
Saturday, June 29th – Humbert and Rick Moon @ Bar Nancy
Also on Saturday, Power pop outfit Humbert will be playing along with Rick Moon at Little Havanna’s Bar Nancy. Miami based songwriter and cult favorite Rick Moon is himself gearing up to release his latest full-length Electric Lunch next month. Catch the two acts live for some alt-pop vibes starting at 10 pm sharp. The event is free of charge.
Sunday, June 30th – PUNX Picnic @ Legion Park
If you felt like Miami was missing an acoustic, daytime, outdoor punk show, then look no further. Brought to you by Hardcore for Punx Unplugged, this Sunday, join Antifaces, Sewerside Bombers, and UNION at Legion Park for a punk Picnic/potluck! The event begins at 3 pm and is free, all ages and dog-friendly! Don’t forget to bring your own picnic wears – and potentially an umbrella!
Monday, July 1st – Permanent Makeup – Mock Identity – Sans Pisces
Tampa based art-punk outfit Permanent Makeup will be heading up Sweat Records on Monday along with current tour partners Mock Identity (D.C) whose sound is an interesting mix of post-punk meets grunge. Local support comes from Sans Pisces. The all-ages event is free, though donations for the touring bands are appreciated. The weekday show is an early one (thank god) starting promptly at 7 pm and wrapping up at 10 pm.
