Dark synth-pop act Mr. Kitty will be performing in Miami during Art Basel Week. The free show will take place at Allapatah’s underground den Las Rosas on Friday, December 6th, and will feature live performances by Pastel Ghost, Culttastic and Mother Juno. Mikey Ramirez and Leitvox will be providing the soundtrack for the rest of the night.
Mr. Kitty’s sound has been described as “Self-Destructive Synthpop,” and it is influenced by Post-Punk, Witch House and early New Wave. The Texas based musician, has collaborated and remixed artists of the likes of Crystal Castles and IAMX, and he has recently released his 7th studio album, Ephemeral on Negative Gain.
His Miami appearance lands during one of Miami’s busiest times of the year, Miami Art Week, and it is part of his national tour in support of his recently released record.
